MC Female Detectives are quite rare. Here's a collection of them.
Some are less realistic detectives, e.g. in a magic show.
Only the most prevalent anime (meaning an anime not difficult to find) that they are an MC in is included in this list. This excludes sequels and such.

Hands up, don't shoot! Here some of the best titles on a police theme I can think of. Most of them take place in the future and there are even police mechs in one of franchises!

These traits makes the character(s) heads above the average female portrayal in the anime medium.

Q. What's the criteria for this list?

A. Well, OP MC is always entertaining, when done right, and I usually prefer characters who aren't ultimate cucks around women as well (so some anime with "romance" also show up). Some anime featuring cuck MC's are present in the list, but the cuck level is low/bearable enough or the rest of the anime is entertaining enough to sit through main character's cucky shenanigans (cuckanigans?).. viewer discretion is advised.
