Both feature a caring, outgoing female protagonist who is still in grade school with powers. I found a lot of parallels between the MCs. They're both working hard with their friends to help others and solve their internal dilemmas. - In Cardcaptor, she gets her powers after she touches a book. In Sinbi, she gets her powers after meeting Sinbi. - Both have a funny nonhuman character who teaches them about their powers and becomes their friend. - Both meet a possible romantic partner who helps them (can't say anymore without spoilers lol)
