This list includes arthouse (gonna strech this term in this list) that are have multiple episodes that from one story, so compilations like Neo Tokyo or Genius Party will not be in here.
Expect TV anime series and OVAs (they usually have 3-6 episodes 20-40 minutes each).

Regarding TV anime, here you'll find more "modern" series like Kaiba, Haibane Renmeim Flip Flappers, Sonny Boy, Artiswitch which feel a bit different from 80's shows but are still very unique compared to your typical anime so I believe they qualify.

The OVA market dried up as straight to video releases became a thing of the past, which is unfortunate because a lot of interesting and unique anime were released in this format. The point of the list is to feature worthwhile OVAs that are more than just fanservice or shoddy extras for TV series. Sigh, due to the explicit content warning feature, I've excluded Mezzo Forte, but it would be on here otherwise. I should also probably make room for Yukikaze at some point.

Every anime aired on a defunct Ukrainian TV channel QTV (also known as КуйТБ). Assembling this list for nostalgia's sake, might try ranking it at some point.

tokusatsu/henshin hero inspired anime

I am updating these at the beginning of every month.

Buzz was a Spanish subscription television channel produced by AMC Networks International Iberia. Its programming focused on horror content, both in current series and movies.

Despite not being Spanish, I have managed to appreciate the content that this channel transmitted along with several of its dubbings into Castilian Spanish, which, from my point of view, are mostly worth it.

Dark fantasies are always the great ones , if you have patience and brave mentality you may go through all of these . I listed best of the best from classics to newer generation I tried to put everything into this list . Also I have not watched everything I listed here , I scrapped data from MAL and other sites to make this list . I also have not added any sequals here , I tried to put only first shows of any franchise to keep this list tidy and mininal . If you like a show then you can always go to chiaki(.)site to get a sequal of that anime .
