If the other kind of Slice of Life is more drama heavy, of course there are light ones. The shows will make you feel comfortable, lighthearted, and giggle at the same time. These are the fun Slice of Life shows you might actually enjoy. If there's a rich-flavored cake, of course some people can enjoy or prefer plain vanilla ones.

Animes with a female protagonist or primarily female cast.

This is a counterpart to the my magical realism coming-of-age stack. Here, I'll be listing my favorite traditional coming-of-age stories, shows about growing up that take place in a down-to-earth representation of the real world without any fantasy elements. Like with the previous list, I'll be using the first season of the show to represent the entire series.

Animes that contain scenes in which it is implied that one or more characters are or were involved in sexual activities without showing explicit images of the fact.

In this list, I tried to collect as many shows as possible that are dedicated to the deconstruction of certain genres, plot themes or various characters. Therefore, there are both tragedies like Madoka and Eva, and parodies like KonoSuba or Kaguya.

Anime that are largely about the sex lives of the characters or exploratory/educational/parody learning about sex. The level of ecchi is very different, from metaphorical (Darling in the Franxx) to open softcore (ishuzoku Reviewers)

Original or adaptation anime that fully or at least partially support feminist ideas. To avoid misunderstandings and overflowing, I've tried to only include shows that make a clear message instead of just being "girl power".

Anime in the CGDCT genre that subverts traditional expectations of the genre as the pure formula of a show about the plotless everyday life of cute teen girls.

Anime for a common audience that includes representation of marginalized communities without being narrowly focused queer or quuerbaiting content. The purpose of the list is to try and neutrally compile a list of shows with a diverse cast that isn't subject to the heavy fascination with ships and other wishful thinking. Therefore, you will not see any "heavily hinted" and other typical speculation for such stocks here.

Originally I wanted just to put CGDCT(Cute Girls Doing Cute Things) Anime but I decided to make a female-led anime list because there were so much I enjoyed but couldn't classify under CGDCT.

As such, in this list, I tried to include a large variety of different genres, although most are under slice of life so as to make it an easy pastime watch.
