New Interest Stack
Interest StacksBooks, libraries and more: If the other kind of Slice of Life is more drama heavy, of course there are light ones. The shows will make you feel comfortable, lighthearted, and giggle at the same time. These are the fun Slice of Life shows you might actually enjoy. If there's a rich-flavored cake, of course some people can enjoy or prefer plain vanilla ones. Here is my list of highly rated hidden gems that deserve more attention!! Anime with characters who consistently show actually autistic traits - stimming, obsession with very specific things and themes, social phobia, unwillingness to change routines, monotone or stereotyped speaking, strict habits, lack of interest in personal exchanges, difficulty building/maintaining relationships, unusual manners and gestures, selective but very strong empathy etc. Characters in these anime suffer from extreme shyness or social anxiety. Their condition may be caused by past trauma, a mental disorder, or other ongoing problem or phobia that makes it difficult for them to connect with others; such as a fear of physical contact or an aversion to public speaking. Some characters may be fighting to overcome their anxiety - or at least power through it enough to get on with their daily lives - while others have given up trying to come out of their shell and feel isolated or unable to relate to other people. (supposedly child-friendly and pure) A selection of 21st century anime series featuring characters who are adults. From ordinary office workers to traveling peddlers to superheroes, adult protagonists can have a variety of life experiences and many different ways of living. Young emerging adults may still be trying to find their path in life, while established older folks are more likely to have mastered the art of adulting - or at least learned enough to muddle by. Some adults become jaded over time from repeated exposure to the reality that life is often painful, depressing, and unfair. Others retain a more positive outlook by focusing on their dreams for the future or take a more pragmatic approach by putting all their efforts into improving their lives here and now. This list is for the people who needs heartwarming as well as enjoyable moments from the stressed out and tired life. Watching them can heal your heart as well as gives you courage to try something new. This is a part of a series of stacks that are about artistic tendencies in anime (and that border the fine line between sophisticated and pretentious). Just some Iyashikei(healing) anime to make your day better. The shows I picked have, in various ways, changed and shaped the person I am. Some I look back and realize I needed to see it in that time, but I don't feel that way anymore. Some just have very important and memorable moments that I refer back to often. Just some anime characters and whatnot in their usual hectic or peaceful lives, whichever it may be. Basically this stack is just for you to relax and vibe to, as it’s filled with comedy so you’re not stressed as you watch anime. In other words. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the show as you’re dragged along for a fun ride. Anime that is already completed and will never get a season 2 either because it's original or anime adapts the whole source material. Some will not get a squeal either because the manga has already ended or the anime is too old to get a season 2. -Includes all types of genre but mostly (slice of life, comedy, romance) Series focusing on adult characters in their twenties, thirties etc who are working in the workplace or maybe unemployed. Anime that portray characters heavily influenced by words. This could be anything from a librarian, a writer, editor, etc. |
