New Interest Stack
Interest StacksComedy series that don't take themselves seriously and/or have plenty of absurd, whimsical humor. Only anime that I have seen. Sometimes, anime characters in anime speak in English, either because they meet foreigners or because they go to other countries or just because they think it's cool. This often leads to funny moments. All the anime that the director Nabeshin (Shinichi Watanabe) stars in. Disclaimer: This stack is for informational purposes only and is not intended to marginalize or damage the reputation of the series mentioned. This is a part of a series of stacks that are about artistic tendencies in anime (and that border the fine line between sophisticated and pretentious). Theses are the list of shows/movies that aired on the portuguese channel known as SIC Radical. a Portuguese TV network that airs shows made for much older audience. Anime aired in Spain's TV channels (public or private), listed with the Spanish title. Might be missing some or be messy: I wanted to add the most important but also the less obvious. Excluding most sequels & movies. Anime made by the first generation of anime fans. The criteria here is simple: Anime released in any year, with under 160,000 MAL Members, and which I've rated a 7 or higher. Insane and psychedelic storylines with colorful visuals. Some are Action-packed, philosophical, psychological or straight-up weird. Self explanatory title, some anime with Latin American characters, who may just be side characters or protagonists. Also count series with characters from fictionalized versions of Latin American countries, or characters who are implied to be from Latin America without it necessarily being confirmed or a plot-point. Some or many of these may be stereotypical representations of Latin American people who some could find offensive, these are not necessarily instances of "good" representation. Animax was the Latin American affiliate of Sony Entertainment Television's youth channel. |
