Isekai's that deal with MC's who are knowingly OP from the start and with them being used to help protect their society  

Both shows are similar especially the spirit part, both MCs have these spirits living inside their bodies giving them extra power, both of them have common hair color, both of them are OP. And both MCs have different situations on how they end up in another world in which the bus in Haruto was in got crushed by the train while Taichi & Rin gets transported in another world. But what's different about these two shows is that Seirei Gensouki has an interesting plot, but some scenes are sometimes cliche and generic but as for Isekai Cheat Magician, a really generic show where they have a similar plot to other isekai series. both are really fun to watch isekais which have op main characters  

Most of the first half of Plunderer has a swords and magic world setting that's the same as the whole series of Isekai Cheat Magician. Both have serious storytelling hidden beneath, but unfortunately, the shows' direction and mostly over-padding dialogue/script ruins the overall potential & world-building these two had; not to mention, most of their animation movements are subpar & stiff. Plunderer suffers the most for there are mid-close ups of faces looking out of place and almost squiggly like. Don't expect high-quality fight scenes from both shows for that makes their random plot points and jarring plot holes become so obvious that it's difficult to ignore them. This is actually a sarcastic recommendation for those who are looking to watch either the "So Bad It's Good" type of entertainment or complete a dare by somebody who tells you to watch a "Trainwreck or Dumpster Fire" series. If you really have the strength to go through Plunderer's 2-cour length, so be it. But I suggest Isekai Cheat Magician's 1-cour for a warm-up & build-up of your immunity towards Plunderer's blundered storytelling. read more 

They are both about magic  

They both have: 1. OP main characters 2. Get transported to a new world with maigc 3. Slowly build a harem 

(This is meant for the second season of TPN) Both are extremely mediocre and heavily rushed fantasy stories with a generic art style that tried to show how brutal the world could be with theming about war. both features a Mary sue protagonist who previously lived in a peaceful environment however was thrusted into said environment. With a lot of supporters that go along with them 

The same isekai thing were it involves MC's who finds themselves in another world of magic and fantasy.  

Both animes have a main character that is an OP magician in an isekai world, Shingo/Wendelin is reincarnated like Shin of Kenja no Mago (another very similar anime) instead Taichi of Isekai Cheat Magician is transported/evoked in the isekai world but overall they are all very similar characters. 

Both MC power level is very similar a.k.a pretty much god being in term of power scaling on their own representative world both MC lives. I believe Lv2 Cheat plot directing will similar to Isekai Cheat if it have more episodes. The only BIG key different is the Harem genre on Isekai Cheat Magician in my opinion 

Both are isekai that air(-ed) in summer 2019 The mc is pretty overpowered however both are adaptions not done that well imo  

It has the same character that found themselves in a world of magic and fantasy, also in both cases the character were capable of cheating their way around.  

Both main characters are OP as hell and everything works out in their favor. Both anime have magic/supernatural powers. Both have powers that are super unique. Both anime are more light hearted 

The same story plot where the MC finds himself in another world and become the best of what he can be away from the mundane life they once had back in their world. 

It involve another one of those isekai themed anime that was aired together for this season were it has a make and female tandem to got transported into the MMORPG world, except in Isekai Cheat Magician were a osananajimi tandem in Tsuujou it was more like a mother and son tandem.
