New Interest Stack
Interest Stacks![]() ![]() Anime where the story takes place mostly in rural areas or far from urban cities. (In construction) ![]() ![]() Shows based on Vocaloid originals or involving utaites/producers who are/have been active on Nico Nico Douga (extended to YouTube for newer gens). ![]() ![]() Perhaps its Voice Acting quality, Animation, additional OST or Direction, these series are on-par or go above and beyond at elevating the manga's content. ![]() ![]() Anime you can only find (or used to only find) on Amazon, I'm going to add anime you could technically watch on HIDIVE (because Sentai has the licenses, they get to share some series). Note that I'm not adding shows which could be considered "old" because they weren't released as amazon-only initially, so no Gamba or Takarajima. Also no 'Ishida to Asakura', you can't fool us with that 2021 date Amazon, it came out in 2013. Not adding shows which are on other streaming platforms in the West (If I were to consider them I'd add a note), so no Asia streams or programming in other regions. Of course, if I get something wrong put it in the comments, this is to keep track of anime on Amazon but don't expect this to be the most "official" list because of expected region differences. Note also that some can be found on Funimation but due to Crunchyroll's merge I'm still unsure about adding them, I mostly get the streaming info from LiveChart although I've noticed it also misses some streams like 'Unbreakable Machine Doll' or the new 'Initial D Legend' movies which are available with Prime. As a side note, Amazon owns the right to many sequels but either has the original on Prime (But I consider other streaming platforms so no 'Psycho-Pass 1') or under a paywall. ![]() ![]() Series that range around 11 episodes to 26 episodes and have already reached their finale. Taking into account 2nd parts for the 26 ones. ![]() ![]() Most adaptations are, at best, on par with the original. Some aspects are better, some worse, so it's down to preference as to how to enjoy a story. There are, of course, many, *many* outright stinkers that make one think the original was far worse than it actually was. But sometimes there comes an adaptation made with such outstanding effort, it elevates the source material onto a completely new level of experience: either through masterful editing or reimagining of the original narrative, or visionary direction, or incredible sound design, or career-topping performance from animators and/or voice actors. ![]() ![]() If you want to watch an anime portraying a character with a different vibe from their perspective. If they're a psychopath, murderous, not your typical "good" main character, or makes us go, "oh, that character's so wicked," even for a moment, it's on this list (one entry per series - no sequels). ![]() ![]() A selection of shows that have a child (or child-like being) as part of the main cast. ![]() ![]() Is it true that there's no better salvation than not being born in this world? Is the world that ugly that it's not worth living in? Should I even give it a chance? ![]() ![]() Like analysing a characters pshyche while watching anime? Then here's some shows you might be interested in ![]() ![]() These travelers wander from place to place for various reasons. They may travel the land for their job, be on a journey due to a strong sense of wanderlust, or are adventurers on a quest of some sort. Others may be homeless, exiled, or on the run and have no place to put down roots. Basically, a list of non-isekai shows from various genres where the characters change location frequently. ![]() ![]() A selection of 21st-century anime based on source material that pre-dates it by at least twenty years. This includes old-school manga, novels, and video games. Great for those who love retro media ad enjoy seeing classic content dusted off and revived for a new generation of fans to enjoy. |
