New Interest Stack
Interest StacksStuff that is either obscure/unpopular, janky, wildly inconsistent or noticeably cheap (pick any combination), but somehow makes things work and be good anyway (typically against the odds). Characterized by having a MAL average under 7. ╔══╗────────────╔╗╔╗───────╔═╗╔══╗─────╔╗╔═╗╔══╗──╔╗ Various sports compiled into one list of anime. If there are multiple TV-series with the same sport, be warned I just chose the one with a higher popularity. However, there are most definitely other sports anime you should check out such as Slam Dunk, Megalo Box, Ahiru no Sora, Tennis no Ouji-same, All Out!!, Ashita no Joe, Major, Ryman’s Club, Blue Lock, etc. I have decided to make this stack because for some reason I keep finding and watching weirdest girl's club animes. It's WIP. Don't take it too seriously, and I hope you will find something fun to watch! Most expected sports animes won't appear. Purely subjective, duh. Derived from AniFem's seasonal recommendations from 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 that weren't among their yearly top picks. Sports anime with (at the time of adding) less than 100k members and/or a rating under 7.00 that I think deserve more attention and recognition. (Always a WIP as I continue to watch more sports anime!) This stack is intended for non-shoujo or josei shows that have a female protagonist while avoiding the traditional objectification, sexualization, or other possible issues in portraying female characters in male or gender-neutral shows. It may still be somewhat problematic or not fit the ideal female representation, but at least it's not related to ecchi or waifu bait things. Sports with only female characters or with some male characters that have nothing to do with the sport in which girls play Must watches for the depressed, the anxious and the hopeless. Anime that'll destroy your dissapointment on the human race and surely will restore some forgotten hope you had on this sometimes terryfing world. No matter who you are or where you are, we're all going to make it from the animelon 'about' page: |
