Both have princes to choose from and in both the princes are different and incredible in their own way.
Both anime play in old china and both have a nice drawing design.
both are about love, friendship and struggle.
And not to forget, both have this one cold prince that seems to be a jerk but in the end he is the one who's very reliable, charming!!!

The differences

In Sheng Shi Zhuang Niang you don't know who the winner is... meaning you don't know which lover she chooses. But in Tong Ling Fei you will know it!
In Sheng Shi Zhuang Niang it's all about beauty, make-up. In Tong Ling Fei the girl IS a beauty but it's not all about make-up.
