Mob Psycho 100 and Hugtto Precure have the same message. Reflected in both of their OPs, the message of "You can do anything! You can be anything! Your life is your own!" is very heartwarming and fans of one should probably watch the other. Although they have different genres, both have a similar overarching theme, as well as great characters.

Both have "time" as one of the main themes of the season and both have mature parts, while having characteristics elements of Maho Shojo, like fights and transformations.

- Both are magical girl shows with a pink lead and colour-themed teammates - Both have protagonists dealing with feelings on inferiority, worries about the future, and self-improvement - Both feature time travel, to varying degrees - Both feature romance, though Hugtto is a much more subtle / background plot compared to Wish Upon the Pleiades.

The character designs are so similar! Not to mention the whole "hamster turns into a hot guy" thing is in both series! Hug tto! Precure is definitely the better series, but Flowering Heart is a decent watch if you'd like to see some similar character dynamics.

Both Hugtto Precure and Ojamajo Doremi are magical girl anime made by Toei Animation. Ojamajo Doremi Sharp deals with a lot of similar themes as Hugtto, such as motherhood and following your dreams. Both series are great at conveying emotions and made me cry. <3

Both Yu-Gi-Oh! And PreCure are large, long running anime franchises whose number 1 goal is to sell toys. Both reboot themselves after each series ends with a new one. The thing about these two though, they pay some type of HEAVY homage to the series that came before them. Not sure what they’re called in PreCure as I am fairly new to the franchise, but in Arc-V they’re known as Legacy Characters. Basically, characters from previous series make appearances and interact alongside the regular cast. They do it differently though. Hug tto has the previous MAIN characters show up but they don’t stay very long,  read more

Main villains are evil corporations run by a man who has taken a bad path in life and lost everything that made him human. For a magical girl series, Hugtto explores themes of masculinity & fatherhood a lot more than you'd expect, and Mob Psycho 100 was always about what it means to be a man.
