Both about normal unfortunate males that are thrown into a random marriage with a not so human bride and go through hell because of their crazy family and friendsxD Very random and funny.

Both of these anime are part of what I would like to call the "insanity" genre. They are similar in there extreme and strange situations, where you really have no clue whats going on. They are both very outlandish and very funny. If you liked one, you are sure to like the other.

Over-eccentric main girl flat out crazy scenarios inhuman subordinates (~ish)

Both series are fantascial and spontaneous comedies that make a point of flaunting otaku memes to get great laughs. These series use a similar style of over-the-top craziness and ridiculous gags throughout a large cast. Also, parallels can be drawn between the main female leads as spontaneous supernatural loli gods that always get their way. =^_^=

Both anime contain as much randomness. If you enjoy randomness as much as I do, I'd say Kyouran kazoku Nikki is a great choice. It's in my opinion more random than the zombie anime. At times you'll be like why did I enter the ride the cart that is Kyouran Kazoku Nikki, but at the end of the roller coaster ride I can assure you you're happy you took the ride.

A bunch of people are forced into a close relationship due to unfortunate circumstances. Filled with wacky humor to the brim, but also take some steps back sometimes to explore individual characters in somewhat serious arcs.

Both have a self-centered main heroine, both involve a family situation with superpowers, and Ouka and Minamoto are very similar characters on the surface.

Nichijou and Kyouran Kazoku Nikki are quite similar; they are both quite crazy, and include lots of slapstick comedy. Kyouran Kazoku Nikki includes a slightly more in-depth story line, but I enjoyed both series for the same reasons.

Both deal with families having to overcome hard childhoods together.

At times they leave you thinking - "what the hell has just happened". Plot? Who needs solid plot?

Both of them have great, crazy humor. The action are very fast and chaotic. The characters are a parody of science fiction/ slice of life series, yet they are likeble.

Both main characters (Nagi and Kyouka) claim to be goddesses, yet in reality they remember little about their pasts.

Both anime are about guys who are part of an insane family and they are both funny as hell

Both are comedy-oriented anime with a large cast of characters with wide exaggerations. They also both have tons of puns referring to anime, game and general japanese pop culture. Kyouran Kazoku is slightly more crazy than Hayate no Gotoku and easier to understand for non-hardcore fan. If you like the comedy style in Hayate no Gotoku, you'll like Kyouran Kazoku Nikki too or vice versa. Also, the female leads are very similar in character too....

Both deal with "odd" families that have something to do with gods/demons. Kamisama Kazoku focuses more on romance while Kyouran Kazoku Nikki focuses more on randomness.

They just feel a lot the same. Random comedy with random characters. Then every once in awhile it feels like it changes from a kids show to something a bit more. Also, production values are about the same~

Both are funny random and obsessive over one thing or another. If u like Lucky Star then u will most likely like Kyouran Kazoku Nikki.
