The Oofuji Noburou Award (大藤信郎賞) is an animation award given at the Mainichi Film Awards. It is named after Japanese animator Noburou Oofuji. ![]() ![]() We all know that Kyoto Animation has been important to us, wider audience. But unfortunately, a tragedy struck in the studio and caused many casualties and unintentional deaths of innocent lives. Kyoto Animation is known for its animation quality and comfortable story writing. Some of their works were various; comedy, romance, drama, action, and slice of life. Now, this is my collection of KyoAni's best works that touched many hearts. ![]() ![]() What I look for the most in an anime above everything else is high-quality writing. That's not to say that manga, visual novel, and light novel adaptations are written poorly; in fact, there are some that have incredible, masterfully-crafted storylines. I have simply personally found that some of the most unforgettable series for me have been novel adaptations. ![]() ![]() Explicitly Cannon Couples and Hard Subtext Shows. Subtext shows listed here have substantial content and not just a little bit of teasing here and there. Subtext can also be an unspoken focal point of the series. These are shows I can actually recommend and like enough to suggest checking out. ![]() ![]() the best gl (yuri) anime genre that are worth to watch and i recommend 100%, good stuff, soft, good representation, etc etc. ![]() ![]() Anime that has the smoothest animation/art style that you shouldn't miss. Something with many frames per second as well as beautiful, vibrant colors, that you don't have a single moment where you'll feel bored. ![]() ![]() This is a part of a series of stacks that are about artistic tendencies in anime (and that border the fine line between sophisticated and pretentious). ![]() ![]() Anime that looks like a painting, sorted from A to Z. Mostly watercolor or pastel style with soft and soothing color palette. This list doesn't include anime with a Ghibli-esque style or any sequels. Feel free to comment on my profile if you have some suggestions, and enjoy :) |
