Anime with a loner protagonist. Well, at least at the start since introducing new characters is unavoidable. I'm only including the ones where the solitary mindset has been somewhat emphasised.

The following anime have main characters who act weak but are in fact truly overpowered.

Series with no filler, but some series may have mixed filler in one or two episodes, but you probably won’t even notice.

Anime where the main character is particularly intelligent compared to the other characters and their cleverness and strategy plays a large role in the plot of the story, especially if they put their plans into action off-screen.

Anime series with the most OP Protagonists!
Most of these are Isekais or VRMMOs where the protagonist enters a new world and gains incredible powers, but the list also includes protagonists who were born powerful or became powerful in their own world.

These are some pretty good psychological anime series and movies.. Some are new and some are a little older. Enjoy!

Anime with characters who consistently show actually autistic traits - stimming, obsession with very specific things and themes, social phobia, unwillingness to change routines, monotone or stereotyped speaking, strict habits, lack of interest in personal exchanges, difficulty building/maintaining relationships, unusual manners and gestures, selective but very strong empathy etc.

If you want to watch an anime portraying a character with a different vibe from their perspective. If they're a psychopath, murderous, not your typical "good" main character, or makes us go, "oh, that character's so wicked," even for a moment, it's on this list (one entry per series - no sequels).

If you've gotten tired or bored with the common trope of the main character trying to get stronger to save something or somebody. If you just want to take a breather and take a break without worrying about the main character for a while - although I can't guarantee it for all of them - this list is for you (one entry per series - no sequels, etc.). My favorite shit anime that I've come to semi-unironically love. It's all trash.

Prime examples of what I mean when I say "Best battles + strategic fights + cool characters sorta animes" are 'World Trigger' and 'Kingdom'.
But some of the titles I've included are more prominent in one of these aspects, like 'March comes in like a lion' being more strategic heavy.
All the animes that are included are super interesting and worth the watch.
