Ojamajo Doremi Sharp

Both Hugtto Precure and Ojamajo Doremi are magical girl anime made by Toei Animation. Ojamajo Doremi Sharp deals with a lot of similar themes as Hugtto, such as motherhood and following your dreams. Both series are great at conveying emotions and made me cry. <3  

In both titles, older (Daa! Daa! Daa!) or younger (Sharp) kids are taking care of a baby. This baby came from another world/planet, has supernatural powers and can fly. The daily chores of raising a baby with changing diapers, sleepless nights and other difficulties form an important part of both series. Keeping the powers of the baby in check (especially to prevent it from flying) adds to the challenge. Furthermore, in both titles, some bad guys are repeatedly trying to abduct the baby, which leads to various adventures. Also, there is more (Daa! Daa! Daa!) or less (Sharp) romance.
