Films that were nominated for the Best Animation of the Year prize given by the Japan Academy Film Prize Association, first awarded in 2007. All five nominees are awarded the Excellent Animation of the Year (優秀アニメーション作品) by the association. ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ This stack is a collection of anime that are either set during summer or convey summer vibes (for example are set in a place next to the ocean). This list contains all movies that aren't related with any anime series. These are the family based films and films can be watched together with your family. Who said your parents and sibling can't watch anime? Of course, they can too. As long it's decent XD Jokes aside, here is my collection of animes films that your family might enjoy too. The "Scotland Loves Anime" film festival takes place annually in Glasgow and Edinburgh. It was started in 2010 and includes the "Golden Partridge" jury award and audience-voted awards. Everyone knows Studio Ghibli's amazing work, but what about the other studios? AnimeChallengeby
MyAnimeList
Anime reminiscent of summer with supernatural elements. This is a list of non-Ghibli standalone movies - meaning they are not associated with a TV series Kemono Jihen is about a detective obseased with the occult. He finds and reacuea these kids with special powers and helps them and guides them. This is a part of a series of stacks that are about artistic tendencies in anime (and that border the fine line between sophisticated and pretentious). Looking for movies to watch with friends? Or on your own? Romance standalone movies that have clean and crisp animation. While some series do have other related entries, it’s possible to watch this without any prior knowledge which is why I included them in this stack. I hope you enjoy! A compilation of anime that began airing during the month of August. GKIDS is an American film distributor based in New York with, according to the Los Angeles Times, a focus on "sophisticated, indie" animation. GKIDS releases critically acclaimed mostly hand-drawn, international films—such as the works of the independent Japanese anime studio Studio Ghibli—to North American audiences. GKIDS also distributes computer animated and stop-motion films in addition to hand-drawn ones, as well as American films by independent filmmakers. The name is said to be an acronym for "Guerrilla Kids International Distribution Syndicate". |
