New Interest Stack
Interest StacksSometimes, you just want to see cute characters suffer. Every animated media that has been made has the idea to tell a story and to express a feeling on the watcher. But then, there are some series which has a particular way to evocate their sentiments and they use different tools to do that. Thought provoking writing, displaying the characters' internal monologues, their struggles and fears, using particular cinematographic angles and by blending contrasting styles of animation, coloring and highly symbolical and metaphorical imagery - these are some of the many hallmarks signifying the said animation has psychological themes, and that it is avant-garde in it's approach. This method of expression is not limited to any genre, as well. These are some pretty good psychological anime series and movies.. Some are new and some are a little older. Enjoy! Is it true that there's no better salvation than not being born in this world? Is the world that ugly that it's not worth living in? Should I even give it a chance? Continuation of my previous list of anime series not so well known for their titles, some not necessarily underestimated, but easy to go unnoticed in the community. This is a part of a series of stacks that are about artistic tendencies in anime (and that border the fine line between sophisticated and pretentious). This list of anime will definitely raise a question to yourself that "What exactly is good? What exactly is evil?" Just a list of anime with examples of close-to-abysmal parents/parenting. Some are not blood-related but are still considered parents or parents through adoption. All of them have in some way, shape, or form messed up the central character/major characters in these anime. These are series that may appeal to an otaku with an ENFJ or INFJ-type personality. There seem to be a lot of ways to watch anime but sometimes there are certain outliers that don't make their way to any legal streaming service OUTSIDE OF JAPAN (these criteria are mainly made using LiveChart.me as they list official streaming services to view anime and The Streamable), this stack aims to shine a light on these series, however, some rules are to be followed: Even if it's not a horror some anime can get terrifying. Despite most horror anime not being scary. Gore and other stuff that is portrayed in a way that makes you feel physically sick in a horror context works as well. Essential anime for lonely people out there (like me) if you want to feel something in this big big world. To see every color, every character in desperate search for some human warmth, to understand and befriend them as we ourselves are looking for genuine connection. NOBODY UNDERSTANDS ME MAN!!! D:< |
