Really similar in their sense of humor; both are also filled with random bullshit and references. I suspect Paniponi was an inspiration for Ryofuko-chan; there's even what seems to be a cameo of Mesousa from Paniponi Dash in the first episode of Yawaraka Sangokushi Tsukisase!! Ryofuko-chan. Hell, they share the trope of having a small animal(sometimes) that constantly gets abused by the rest of the main cast.
