Interest Stacks  Animes With Harem And/Or Ecchi Elements - Part 1   If the other kind of Slice of Life is more drama heavy, of course there are light ones. The shows will make you feel comfortable, lighthearted, and giggle at the same time. These are the fun Slice of Life shows you might actually enjoy. If there's a rich-flavored cake, of course some people can enjoy or prefer plain vanilla ones.   Anime with unique teachers   This is a list of shows where 'Monster Girls' & Animal Girls play a central part to the story.   Anime that have important characters that are monstrous or that differ from a regular human.   Light, chill anime   Coming-of-age stories are about characters growing into the next stage of their lives, from adolescence into adulthood. Magical realism involves the inclusion of fantasy elements in stories that otherwise take place within the real world, normalizing them as part of the world even if not everyone can see it. I believe that these subgenres beautifully compliment each other, and I have an affinity for stories that do this. The addition of fantastical elements into a realistic setting emphasizes the mundanity of our lives, and the addition of magical whimsy can highlight the beauty within our mundane lives, and create a heightened sense of beauty and atmosphere to scenes, or emphasize the sense of the mysterious unknown that comes with growing up. Fantasy can sometimes serve as a parallel to things that exist in our lives, and in other cases, the fantasy can be something we need to leave behind as we grow up. Regardless of how or why it's incorporated, I find it to be a wonderful combination, so I'm going to highlight some anime coming-of-age stories with magical realism that I enjoy. The first season of any show listed will count for the entire series.    + girls surrounded by monsters   Anime of every genre and score that have vampires or monsters very similar to vampires as a main character or heavy focus. Different from the vampire tag as this excludes characters with (only) blood related powers or anime with creatures called vampires that don't have most vampire traits. Only includes the first season of each anime unless vampires only appear in a later season or ova, in which case when they appear is included instead.   A collection themed around the spookiest time of year, but it's always Halloween in my soul...   A stack dedicated to various anime about teachers, from school sitcoms to serious shows about teaching experience.  This stack is dedicated to anime that talk about unusual or downright fantastic schools that prepare characters for either fantastic professions and goals, or to become a super specialist in real-life fields. For example, the Gundam school in The Witch from Mercury or the school of the best chefs in the world in Shokugeki no Souma.   Anime for when you just want to relax or have a laugh.   Derived from AniFem's Bonus Picks of the Decade   340-462. Neat. Also, kinda feeling uncertain about whether or not I've repeated some anime. So... rip. Oh well.   Anime about Characters with illnesses, disability, and/or disorder.   No Harem or Love Polygons/Triangles.   Wholesome/SOL anime with a majority female cast, but also has some pandering fanservice involved in the anime, some more than others. Mainly to do with suggestive camera work or a lot of skin shown. Sometimes they tease yuri. Ecchi is never in the genre list.   The stupidest list you'll see today XD |
