Criminals on death row, get a chance to erase the sentence by going to this island where they have to survive. The criminals have to work together to get away from the island. Love between some of the main charachters.

Ibara no Ou and Bloodivores are about a ragtag group of characters that are locked away and wake up some time later to find out their world has heavily changed. Both anime has monsters that hunt everyone down by the masses and the audience must figure out what happened.

both have two different kind of people that co-exist "non-humans" in both shows are discriminated by "humans" "non-humans" in both shows get their source to live by eating the "humans" (except in BV, they drink blood) both MC look the same(its pointless but i just want to point it out lol) both non-humans use "masks" to hide their faces though its more unique in tokyo ghoul(no offense :P)

the anime just started and i noticed they have some similarities so far... both of these anime have the same feel to it. vampires are discriminated against by humans. vampires and humans are at war with each other.
