Both have Slice of Life plot of High schoolers with an entertainment industry occupation Both shows focuses on the school life while using the protagonists' occupations to supplement the plots Both are lighthearted with a good dose of comedy Both have characters that are fun to watch

This recommendation may seem odd, but there certainly are similarities in both of these shows. The most notable one would be their slice of life story plot. Even though Marginal#4 isn't tag with slice of life, and it looks absolutely like an Idol show, but I would describe Marginal#4 as a slice of life show with the Idol world as its background. They are both lighthearted coupled with humourous events here and there. They are both very easy to watch, nothing complex or deep.

Both are essentially Slice of Life of Idols Both have flashy idol illustrations Both have considerably amusing Idols performances Marginal has more focus on the high school slice of life plot while Shounen focuses more on the idol work Marginal is more comedic and natural Marginal has a way more relatable slice of life story plot too Marginal has more variety of the idols' songs too Marginal is more lighthearted

Only the concept are similar here. They both uses the Music world as their background for its main story. In Nodame, is the Romance between the protagonist. In Marginal#4, is the Slice of Life of the protagonists that is being showcased. I am recommending the other anime just in case there are people who prefer shows that have a touch of music, but not centering its plot entirely on it. Though there's a notch more music trivia in Nodame than in Marginal#4 Both are lighthearted to a large extend and have their fair share of humour bits thrown around.

It's also a show about music, not as silly as classicaloid, but still very fun

They are both largely slice of life. Even though Marginal#4 isn't tagged as Slice of Life, but after watching it, it is more of a slice of life than it is of music. It is basically a Slice of Life show using the Idol world as its background. They are both very easy to watch. They both have a big serving of lightheartedness sprinkled with humourous events, and have a large side of teenage friendship to go along with. Marginal#4 is a tad more comedic than Kimi To Boku Kimi To Boku is more relaxing than Marginal#4 Do give the other a try if you want something that is easy  read more

Both are about students getting involved into the music world. Marginal#4 is about idol world, while Tari Tari is simply about wanting to sing/perform as students. But despite the music element in their story, they are both largely Slice of Life, especially Marginal#4. Both are lighthearted and easy to watch. Marginal#4 has more comedic elements to it imo.
