New Interest Stack
Interest Stacks![]() ![]() Anime you can only find (or used to only find) on Amazon, I'm going to add anime you could technically watch on HIDIVE (because Sentai has the licenses, they get to share some series). Note that I'm not adding shows which could be considered "old" because they weren't released as amazon-only initially, so no Gamba or Takarajima. Also no 'Ishida to Asakura', you can't fool us with that 2021 date Amazon, it came out in 2013. Not adding shows which are on other streaming platforms in the West (If I were to consider them I'd add a note), so no Asia streams or programming in other regions. Of course, if I get something wrong put it in the comments, this is to keep track of anime on Amazon but don't expect this to be the most "official" list because of expected region differences. Note also that some can be found on Funimation but due to Crunchyroll's merge I'm still unsure about adding them, I mostly get the streaming info from LiveChart although I've noticed it also misses some streams like 'Unbreakable Machine Doll' or the new 'Initial D Legend' movies which are available with Prime. As a side note, Amazon owns the right to many sequels but either has the original on Prime (But I consider other streaming platforms so no 'Psycho-Pass 1') or under a paywall. ![]() ![]() A curated list of anime I think every Yuri and GL fan should watch at some point. ![]() ![]() Celebrate your every halloween watching these animes... ![]() ![]() A list of Mahou Shoujo anime where existence of magical girls is not a secret and the world knows they do exist. ![]() ![]() Includes all* anime on the Anime+/GRAPH mahou shoujo/magical girl achievement list ![]() ![]() Anime that may look like they have things like yuri undertones and yuri scenes or elements, but are not yuri or tagged yuri anime. ![]() ![]() Fighting Female Protagonist part Part 2 - https://myanimelist.net/stacks/34283 ![]() ![]() Part 2(newer entries/more shows with cuter cast/girls doing action things) - https://myanimelist.net/stacks/35209 ![]() ![]() Anime with one or more non MC Heterochromia Character(s) ![]() ![]() Fantasy stories set in magical lands, Fairy Tale kingdoms, worlds of High Fantasy, Heroic Fantasy, or Sugar Bowls and Science Fiction stories set in a Crystal Spires and Togas Utopia or somewhere on the squishier end on the Mohs Scale of Science Fiction Hardness seemingly take place in universes far removed from the concerns of reality. Yet despite how fantastic these worlds seem upon the first impression, it can turn out that their denizens still spend much of their time dealing with the same ordinary matters (e.g., money, employment, taxes, bureaucracy, politics, lawsuits, potholes in the street, etc.) that people do in Real Life. This is how the Extraordinary World, Ordinary Problems trope works. It can be invoked by anything from a quick joke, a parody of fantasy and science fiction tropes, or a complete deconstruction of either genre. One way to get the point across is to feature an outsider who's initially in awe of the new setting but soon learns things really aren't much different from the mundane world he or she came from. |
