Magical girls mixed with more adult themes, goes off the beaten path in both instances. Twin Angel is much more parodic in nature and Flip Flappers is more serious in tone. both series seem to have the opposite of a serious tone when it comes to villain motivations and plot coherence. plenty of seinen-leaning comedy and fan service, though moetan tends to lay it on more thickly. they also both have among the best transformation sequences in the mahou shoujo genre.
