Interest StacksFinding an anime that you can watch with your family can prove to be a daunting challenge, for newcomers and veterans alike. Even wholesome anime sometimes has that one awkward surprise shower scene, and plenty of action-packed shounen have a fight scene that goes over the top in gore. Worldbuilding - "the process of constructing a world, originally an imaginary one, sometimes associated with a fictional universe." These kinds of shows are usually set in a fantasy and/or sci-fi world, and excel at establishing & showcasing the rules/history/economy of their fictional universe. List was created through collective data from multiple websites of people's answers as to what shows are considered to have great world building. Anime with great worldbuilding, or the development of the fantastical environment and world! None of these anime take place in what you would call 'our universe', rather taking place in an alternative universe or fantasy/ sci-fi setting with amazingly well-tailored and fitting details in technologies and architecture that makes every world unique. Anime where characters manipulate others, outwit them, mislead them for their own benefit, etc. Very often, these characters are very intelligent and great masterminds. English dubs that I found to be really good and are at least comparable to (if not better than) their subbed counterparts. Part 1 - https://myanimelist.net/stacks/885 Anime with jazzy James Bond-esque OPs/EDs. Deception can be scary. Is the world you live in really what you perceive? Do you believe in what you see or see what you believe? What is the truth and what is the lie? Is anyone benefiting from the lies and who is struggling from the truth? If everyone believes in a lie, does the lie become the truth? What happens if what you think is wrong has been the right one all along? Will you switch sides, or will you stay? Mystery is my favorite genre, so trust me when I say I know what I'm talking about... kinda... 100% purity here! Not a single bit of nonsense relating to sex. Shows/Movies of all kinds that are either meant for or can be enjoyed by an older audience. A treasure trove of excellence covering a wide range. Story-driven thrillers, well researched historical shows, brilliant world-constructions, poetic narrations, gripping thrillers, dark comedies, complex future visions, tightly packed action, avant-garde art, solid entertainment, tear-jerking dramas to light-hearted slices of lives. Just some Iyashikei(healing) anime to make your day better. I once made a list of Jazzy soundtracks I found in anime so I decided to put it here. Feel free to send me any suggestions. Shows that have spies/secret agents or focus on espionage. This list will be updated if there are other animes related to this. These are anime with unique settings and interesting world-building. Some of these are longer and have more time to flesh out the world-building, while others are shorter but very unique. Anime with visually appealing and unique art style and animation that make them stand out as "eye candy." Their vibrant and colorful aesthetics are just as charming as actual sweets too! |
