New Interest Stack
Interest StacksMostly anime that try to follow Knox's rules of detective fiction, with few exceptions. Only includes anime I would recommend. This is a part of a series of stacks that are about artistic tendencies in anime (and that border the fine line between sophisticated and pretentious). Although none of these anime have a tag/theme that denotes them as psychological, they all use cinematographic tactics often seen in psychological media to explore different aspects of the human condition and tackle atypical and philosophical topics. Animes that contain scenes in which it is implied that one or more characters are or were involved in sexual activities without showing explicit images of the fact. This stack is an ultimate starter pack if you are looking for anime with genius protagonists or characters with considerably high IQ. If mind games and intelligent moments are your go-to interests, this is the perfect stack for you. These are great atmosphere from finished anime that u can binge at once when u start it. Try it out n prove it by urself. the following are features that u can get it in : Classic mystery whodunnits or police detectives solving cases involving murder, theft, etc. with a limited number of suspects. Mostly episodic rather than a full series with only one plot/case. Some listings with supernatural elements but only if it fits the 'detective' part of it. Characters must pass a series of tests, eliminate other character(s) &/or find the perpetrator to survive/advance to the next level. An assorted stack of anime series with some talented detectives and mind-boggling mysteries to uncover. Highly recommended for fans who love to put on a thinking cap and wrap their head around, trying to unravel secrets alongside the protagonists. Anime with various philosophical, religious, and psychological themes. Feel free to correct me where I'm wrong, give advice to add/change tags to the anime listed, or suggest new anime I had not considered. Some shows that give me this vague indescribable feeling. Sort of comforting, sort of not. Kind of emptyish maybe? There is just no way to say it accurately. No particular genres but they somehow have something in common. Lmk if you guys get what I mean. I'll add more once I find more. Idek what tags to put so I'll put none :) The protagonist of the show remains nameless for the entirety of the show/season. Being only referred to by other terms or nicknames that aren't related to their real name. It only counts if in the show/anime it was never revealed, if it was revealed elsewhere later on in the source material or a databook, it won't matter for the animes included this list. Part 2 of my list of anime which are considerably low in typical tropes. |
