Synopsis

Whether it be facing misogynistic remarks from her boss or being pressured by condescending co-workers, stress is just another part of the job for 25-year-old red panda Retsuko. Despite being one of the most diligent workers at her office, her diminutiveness and modesty often lead her to be exploited by her colleagues. However, when her irritation hits the limit, Retsuko brings forth her unique brand of letting off steam: aggressive death metal karaoke bashing the idiocy and hypocrisy of her co-workers' actions and work life. Although this venting only takes place in her mind, it gives her an outlet to counter her frustration in a world where hierarchy and appearances reign supreme.

Aggressive Retsuko was fun to watch! With every episode I watch, I feel more and more related to Retsuko. Her inner thoughts with her coworkers and even her bosses get me every time. The characters are a bit different from the Netflix series, especially Haida, he doesn't have a big crush on her but instead, he seems like a background character. Though it feels like only a few characters have a personality, making me like the Netflix series a little bit more but other than that I highly recommend you give this anime a chance!

It's a really fast watch with every episode being a minute ...

Mixed Feelings
I'm trying to recall the points I made 6 months ago. Note that many of the detailed story elements aren't too fresh to me given my vague memories of the show. I will, however, try the best I can to provide an unbiased critique, a personal account on how I view it.

I am ardently hyping for season 2. It is a pretty standard show that caught my attention due to the popularity of a few of its characters, especially Haida, who has since became quite a sensation in the furry fandom. Regardless of that fact, Aggretsuko doesn't exactly break boundaries. It's concept is interesting, but ...

WARNING: I'm gonna spoil this show (Aggressive Retsuko), I recommend you watch this anime before reading, for context and to be able to watch without spoilers.

I watched the first season of the ONA version of this, so I might have a few comparisons here and there.

I usually rate shows by how much they impact me emotionally, like I figure most people do, and on this one I gave it a favor by giving it a 3. Its emotinal impact almost doesn't exist, and you can't expect to get some feels or great laughs. why? let's think about it.

I'll start with the good stuff about ...
