New Interest Stack
Interest StacksA selection of shows that have a child (or child-like being) as part of the main cast. A list devoted to the subgenre of anime best described as propaganda to make the Japanese have babies. A selection of 21st century anime series featuring characters who are adults. From ordinary office workers to traveling peddlers to superheroes, adult protagonists can have a variety of life experiences and many different ways of living. Young emerging adults may still be trying to find their path in life, while established older folks are more likely to have mastered the art of adulting - or at least learned enough to muddle by. Some adults become jaded over time from repeated exposure to the reality that life is often painful, depressing, and unfair. Others retain a more positive outlook by focusing on their dreams for the future or take a more pragmatic approach by putting all their efforts into improving their lives here and now. Anime with yōkai—spirits from the Shinto religion and/or Japanese folklore. Popular types include kitsune (fox spirits), shape-shifting tanuki (raccoon dogs), kappa (river monsters), and oni (ogre-like demons). This is a part of a series of stacks that are about artistic tendencies in anime (and that border the fine line between sophisticated and pretentious). Just some Iyashikei(healing) anime to make your day better. AnimeChallengeby
MyAnimeList
Anime reminiscent of summer with supernatural elements. In these animes the protagonists (as a couple or individually) somehow take care of babies or young children. The shows I picked have, in various ways, changed and shaped the person I am. Some I look back and realize I needed to see it in that time, but I don't feel that way anymore. Some just have very important and memorable moments that I refer back to often. Trees, forests, deserts, oceans -- shows where the depiction of the outdoors is absolutely breathtaking! Some anime which may have an unexpected or emotional scene to it that may make you want to cry or feel empty inside. This list includes less romantic (although there still are some), but more of a platonic love tearjerkers as a whole. This list includes no side stories. wholesome romcom & slice of life anime shows that radiates a caregiver - little relationship. heartwarming & indeed will fill your heart. |
