New Interest Stack
Interest StacksThe anime stack of mostly all-male casts focused on joseimuke media: idols, mobile games, (not) otome games, and multimedia projects. I won't include the sequels because the stack is limited to 50 so you gotta find them out by yourself. Bromance, Male friendship, Rivalry, Ambiguous ambiance, Fujo-bait you know where it lead. There is a ton of series non shounen-ai/BL tagged that contains "I SHIP THEM" or "SHIP HAS SAILED" moments. A simple list of most of the TV animes featuring male idols. Personally I recommend checking out Uta no Prince-sama and Ensemble Stars! This interest stack contains all of the anime that have been discussed on the iDOL D@YS podcast. (go listen to it on Spotify, it's great) Anime adaptations of various gacha games, that is, basically mobile games of various genres (mostly musical or associated with moe anthropomorphism), where you play to earn points that can be spent on getting limited attractive characters (or cards with them) in a virtual analogue of a vending machine. Popularly, these anime are also often referred to as waifu or hasubendo bait shows due to the large number of attractive characters that the adaptation advertises to entice you to download the game. SPOILER WARNING, speaks for itself. What counts as a Kageyama? They could be tsundere, socially awkward, or simply have dark hair with v-shaped bangs. Maybe a sports anime/shounen recommendation list in disguise This stack is dedicated to anime that talk about unusual or downright fantastic schools that prepare characters for either fantastic professions and goals, or to become a super specialist in real-life fields. For example, the Gundam school in The Witch from Mercury or the school of the best chefs in the world in Shokugeki no Souma. The title speaks for itself. Largest groups (1-50): Male Idol Anime Works ♪ Literally every anime (excluding Music, Specials, and OVAs) about Male Idols that I found from the Idols (Male) section on MAL. Based on Captain-Nisaka's video "Evolution of shoujo animes - 1966-2021 (COMPLET)" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AmrW6NNvnDc This stack is for shoujo, josei or any other female-targeted show with a male protagonist. In case this stack is of interest to any of the guys, I tried to select shows with a non-objectified image of the guys first. But anyway, this stack is meant for any audience, so I didn't rule out fanservice shows or BL. Also, some shows, especially idols, usually have a formal female protagonist, but since most of the focus is on the male characters anyway, I took the liberty of listing some of them too. Figured it'd be easiet to see and find all the songs/anime they currently have in MAL into a interest stack (for me personally at least.) There's a bunch of people (mostly guys) who has some characteristic in this group. However the genre, their relationship with the MC's trully fresh and bonding quite strong to each other. Main-main MC unless there are 2 or more who equally share the spotlight. Will not add (yet) those I'm not certain of |
