New Interest Stack
Interest StacksAll anime connected with Key, Tactics, and Jun Maeda, only excluding One: Kagayaku Kisetsu e - True Stories, which is a hentai. Anime adaptations of various visual novels. Their total number is clearly more than the allowable limit, so I tried to add mainly adaptations of novels by well-known brands (Key, 5pb, Aquaplus), or those with well-known adaptations. Given the many sequels, spin-offs, and versions (especially in the case of the Fate series), I added only very first anime in the franchise. 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘙𝘶𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘪 𝘶𝘴𝘦 This interest stack lists all the anime whose characters are featured in the TV short Kaginado by release order. Specials, OVAs, etc. not included. For the first six months of 2023, I will be watching ALL of the anime adaptations based on Key’s visual novels, because I don’t play that kinda stuff but I want to experience all of these stories anyways! Aside from February, April and June, as February also has whatever I can watch of Clannad, April has both Planetarian and Little Busters! and June has all three anime original series, one anime adaptation is watched a month. Began on January 16, 2023, and is currently ongoing. These anime and donghua have an episode at the beginning or end of the show that is longer than the rest of the series. These animes are rated low, but are actually quite enjoyable. The plots can be convulated or too big for the number of episodes, but with an open-mind can be appreciated. They have really strong underlying themes and depth. If you finish the whole series, you will be satisfied. This stack will feature anime with broad ecological and environmentalist themes. All the anime adaptations of Key visual novels going from the VN's release order and if there are multiple adaptations then it will be the release order of those as well Key is a Japanese visual novel studio known for making dramatic and plot-oriented titles. It was formed on July 21, 1998, as a brand under the publisher Visual Arts, and is located in Kita, Osaka. It may look like a harem and smell like a harem, but it's not a true harem. Anime with harem elements that lack the qualifications of being full harem anime instead have harem subtext, the topic of this stack. This was partly inspired by the romantic subtext tag, but also the fact that there are many anime out there that may have harems in them, but aren't true harem series. This can often be because the protagonist simply chooses one girl early on and the rest of the 'harem' is left with unrequited love, or perhaps the protagonist has no feelings for any of the girls. Whatever the case may be, the story clearly does not treat enough of the girls as having a serious shot at the protagonist's heart for it to be a true harem series. |
