-Both are mystery, and they're trying to figure out who the "insider" is. -Both have a diverse cast of males and females. -Both have incorporated a fantasy element; the characters have some sort of power. If you're a fan of mystery and great art (and plot), try these animes.

Both main females are sweet girls with pink hair and tragic pasts who carry deadly power if used unwisely. Both main couples have similar personalities and looks. Both have intricate plots about a group of youth with special abilities trying to change fate.

Characters from both animes have different special abilities. Musaigen no Phantom is more comedy/ecchi whereas Norn9 is mystery/adventure.

The main focus is Love between two protagonists. They love deeply each other like Romeo and Juliet! It's very romantic and you will cheer them untill the end. Also their love is inspiring because they fight the evil to be together forever. It might sound very unrealistic this type of love. But it is not. It's inspiring to see such love in this series. Even though it's shoujo demographic not a yosei one. Anyway it's a romance show with a twist of drama. Hope you enjoy this show!

Both are reverse harem adaptations with an amnesiac pinkish haired heroine. Both have beautiful art and animation. If you enjoyed one, you will enjoy the other.

+ Both have a lot of bishounen boys.... [fujoshi's stay away!] + Pain of frienship [ nakama power ? ] + sad past of the characters...[again tragic heroes ?] + both has power within them.... which they can't even control NORMALLY... + both series has overdramatic scenes [forceful melodramas = no good ] + both series has non-hateable antagonists.... + both has a little bit of action ... + In both cartoons, our protagonist-kun's & -chan's or -san's stay in safe place [07-Ghost they stayed at the Church grounds mostly & in Norn9+Nornet they stay at big flying type of earth [ much smaller ] thing/ball?

Both are based on reverse harem visual novels. Heroine starts living in a "different world" full of pretty boys with magical abilities, though in Kamigami no Asobi these abilities are more related with mythology since that's the main theme there, but is very much the same with the heroine discovering a little bit about each characters and about herself every episode. The boys also seems to have lots of troubles and dark pasts, so the heroine will start to find out about this and help them in the end.

The main heroines are very similar, most of the time their only dialogue is the names of their supporting cast. They also both have an abundance in male supporting characters.

You wonder why I'd recommend two animes that have a different plot and setting? The answer is simple: these two otome/reverse Harem anime differ greatly from your typical otome anime where you have a passive heroine who seems to have no personality other than being the girl that all guys find irresistible. Here you have for the first time: - In Arcana Famiglia, the heroine just doesn´t stand in a corner being led around, she actually fights for what she wants and she is able to defend herself and make her own choices. - In Norn9 you have not one but three heroines, which is extraordinary  read more
