Interest Stacks  These shows have a distinct Middle Eastern aesthetic or take place in the region. The Middle East consists of over a dozen countries that stretch from Turkey (sometimes spelled Türkiye) to the north, Egypt and the surrounding African nations in the west, all the way to Iran (formerly known as Persia or Pars in ancient times) and Afghanistan to the east. The land of Arabia is particularly well-known, due to the famous literature, "Arabian Nights".   Toei Animation has made several anime characters the stars of videos teaching safety skills to kids. This list compiles all the anime safety videos.   "Some of the stories commonly associated with the Arabian Nights—particularly "Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp" and "Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves"—were not part of the collection in the original Arabic versions, but were instead added to the collection by French translator Antoine Galland after he heard them from Syrian writer Hanna Diyab during the latter's visit to Paris.
