Obake no Dokurou

I have seen many shows in my life, and this was one of them.
This movie, directed by none other than Michiya KAtou, director of Bihada Ichizoku, Oden-kun, and his most populaR work, Osu no Buu-cahn, is one of the movies directed by him, along with the others that I mentioned above. Becasuse of this, I was very interested to see the directeion his most recent work would take, considering how much I loved his previous work. I found dokurou while searching for another show called dokuro the angel or ... something like that, directed by another director whom I won't name as he did not work on this doruko that I'm reviewing (I wouldn't want to include unneccessary information).

***Upon reviewing my review, I noticed that I had mistakingly called this MOVIE a SHOW - "I have seen many shows in my life" (paragraph 2). However, it is actually a movie, and not a show, which would mean that this was not one of the many shows I have seen in my life***

The movie has many ghosts. Each ghost has its own special ability that contributes to the plot of the movie. I was personally very interesgteds in seeing how these abilities were developed over time, and if there was any sort of power-scale set in the universe to define said abilities. Howver, the movie did not explain how these abilities came to be, and instead threw them into my face as if I was a bowl of spaghetti. Like seriously, how can a character simply have the power to heal any wound by simply releasring her fragrance??? That's such an overpowered ability that I immediately lost all immersion. Even though she was the most powerful character by far, she barely got any screen time and her power didn't even matter becauswe I guess the dentures also have healing POwers??

The movie (not a show) started off with the news playting and it was talijing about clinton and an eraser on his back. I don't really rmember, it might have been another person. Then there waws another person they talked about that I don't remember either. He was korean. After that, the bone girl said some studff, then turned into a doll??!!!?!? weird ability... Then the grandamma came in and the granddaughter folded som e paper thingy that caused the grandmas' dentures to fall out .

After this, the dentures btut a dog. This is where the ghosts and their abilities came into play. A ghost gumball machine came and spat out the ghosts. IT was cool. Then the granddauguhteq chased the dog on a mot I mean a scooter. It was really cool chase scene. but oh noooo the dentures ran away past a fence. BUT THEM. the bone doll revealed ability #2 - she can turn into a polaroid. That was cool because then they found the dentures again. But that only happened after the most immaculate character arc of all time. In tje infamous polaroid scene, the granddaughter is too young to understand photos that aren't digital. BEcause of this, she calls the bone girl useless. This scene represents a lot about how young people in modern society do not respect the technology that helped give way to modern cameras. In fact, without technology, this animes couldn;t be made in today's world! However, grandaughter girl then cryed and understood that the polaroid was actuallty just upside down.

This leads to my final point - the ending of the movie. It ends when they catch up to the dog. THey do this by introducing another super ability - this guy can fart out of his head!??!?!??!?!?. They use it in such a creative way by using it to catch up to the dog while they atre chasing it on a scooter in order to get the grandma's dentures. when they catch up, they fiind a fatal flaw in the fart man's ability - he can't control the fart!!!:OOOO. because og this, they almost run into a nuke, but the dentures bite the bone girl and the town is saved.

The characters had so many cool powers but the system was not explained very well and the power sdcaling was a bit off
