What if a teacher is himself, trying his best to change his students, which are already rejected by society? Comedy happens and lesson will be learned.

Both are your non-standard teachers who help the students and "lecture" them outside of school. This is the he way deals with problematic kids, and aid the not so bad ones. However the differences are that Onizuka wanted to do it, but Junichirou didn't, and also Junichirou is open about the fact that he is a hardcore otaku and seems to have everything going for him. Unlike Onizuka who had to overcome many obstacles as a teacher, and fight for both the privilege to teach as well as many things and Junichirou had the job forced on him against his will.

-Both MC used to be NEET and were forced to become a teacher. -Both MC are unmotivated and lazy. -Both MC excels in teaching (if they are motivated).

The companion supervisor girl which is also a common feature here [to some extent], and the socially-rejected main protagonist as they fight their point of view and prove to the world is that anime is the purest thing here. The Rate of enjoyment is very high and a good laugh to both of the show is guaranteed.

Their both about teachers (or royal tutors) that are very talented. And they have lots of comedy in them. Overall I just think there very alike.

Both have school themes Both about otaku Both have cute girls Both have (basically) no plot (except for the last 3 episodes of denpa kyoushi)

*Both include school settings *Have a fair balance between action and fanservice *shady schools and stuff, but less based in the teachers themselves and more in the students

While Ansatsu is more focused on the various students of class 3-E denpa kyoushi is more focused on kagami the NEET teacher. The former cashes on the various neat tricks and comedy involving the daily intercourse of the teacher and the class the latter exploits the daily gimmicks of an otaku teacher. As a whole ansatsu is a more entertaining watch than otaku teacher.

both insist otaku culture to other people, same studio, same licensor, same feel, similar art, both sibling theme, et cetera

In both of these anime the main protagonist has a sense of YD where he only does what he wants to do. Kagami from Denpa Kyoushi only does what he wants. In Gate Itami only does what he wants to support his anime hobby. In both anime the main protagonists are also otakus.

similarity: same voice actor as mc, both stories revolve around them being teachers having weird wacky crazy students difference: studio sayonara zetsubou sensei is made by Shaft, it is also longer as an anime and its definitely older

The main character from both series are teacher and otaku. Both of them use their otaku knowledge to help solve problems. One series takes place in a magical fantasy world and the other in the modern day world.

Protagonist interested in teaching (DP wants to teach and in GB wants to learn), even if he looks like an idiot, he is very intelligent. He engages with the problems of girl after girl on his way, and helps them through his teachings.

Mad programmer skills, check. Only can do what he wants to do, check. Li'l sister, check. Otaku culture, check. The MCs of both have somewhat similar characters, and both have been based in 'modern times' respectful to the years they've been published.

Both have a main character only really does what they want to. Both have a brother/sister duo lead that has a relationship with a similar feeling. Both have lots of problems that only the protagonist can sort out.

Both shows are about otaku(s) in the main role who are in a school setting. Genshiken is less of a comedy, and more of just a relaxing experience between friends, and Denpa Kyoushi is a "balls to the wall comedy."
