The dog bites Holmes' head and Sadaharu bites Gin's head. There isn't anything else I understood from Vampire Holmes so I think if you like protagonists being bitten by giant dogs in the head you will like both of these a lot.

- Both based on works by literary masters of detective mysteries. Edogawa and Conan Doyle. - Both deal with mature themes like mysteries and crime. - Both are mysterious and creates an atmosphere that really draws you in. - Both are full of humour; the characters are very witty and mysterious. - Both have segments of tasteful 3D graphics and other mysterious computer generated goodness. - Both contain character that will evoke 'feels', and the mysterious desire to 'ship' them until 'you can't even'. - Both are very colourful and perfect for viewing with family, friend, relatives, and anyone who likes mysteries and solving them.

Hagane Orchestra and Vampire Holmes are short and simple anime that are both about a cast of characters trying to promote their businesses (Selling vehicles in Hagane Orchestra and solving mysteries in Vampire Holmes) and their various schemes to make money. They both originally came from a mobile game as well.

They're both terrible and short animes, so if you want to sit and laugh at two bad animes (especially Vampire Holmes), then go ahead.

Vampire Holmes and black butler have similar themes and take place in London. While vampire Holmes relies mostly on bad comedy, black butler took itself more seriously.

"Ninja Slayer From Animation" and "Vampire Holmes" are series of shorts with lots of physical comedy and other gags. They both fit the description of being so bad that it's good with many viewers despising them.

Light on budget shorts involving vampires, with a very light dusting of the feeling of BL to both.
