It's the same. Young people making doujinshi and trying to sell them...

Both works thoroughly explore the otaku culture; positives and negatives. Comic Party focuses on the exploitation of the increasing popularity of doujin books, similarily NHK ni Youkoso! explores the rising consumerism in eroge visual novels.

The life of a Manga artist. Main character from both series draw manga/doujins. Then sell their work at ComKa etc. They have friends who help them out. Lots of hilarious moments and maybe parodies.

Like Comic Party, Genshiken deals with the real life world of being a fan. While Comic Party concentrates more on the making of the products, such as Dojinshi, Genshiken concentrates on the people who buy the dojinshi. So if you ever wanted to know what type of people buy Kazuki's books watch Genshiken.

You see the title? Similar? both have stories about drawing comics, one is professional and wants her comics to become a series and the other just wants to sell them as doujin. Indeed, the goals are different, but both have stories about drawing comics.

Zany humor bursting apart the anime scene. Lots of fun all around.

To Heart is the anime (and dating sim), that the main characters are fans of. If you're a fan of Comic Party then To Heart is a must watch - if only to make the jokes clearer.

Main character learns the ins and outs of drawing comics from others who are more established. Like the characters in Eromanga-sensei, some characters have noble reasons for doing what they're doing while others just do it for the money.
