Both shows are adapted from a game. They have the same logic, MC's are special and have some kind of power, so do their alies, and with determination (from who knows where they got it) they set out on a journey to save the world.

It's in the same timeperk and fantasy, magic and dragons too. The story isn't that simular but if you like Chain Chronicle really give it a try!

The same setting, the same good versus evil plot, except one was more of adventure , and fantasy, while the other has a horror genre in it, also one was based on some MMORPG game while the other is a reboot of the 1990's anime/manga.

Both are medieval, but Chain Chronicle: Haecceitas no Hikari have fantasy elements. Arslan is more realistic, have a history baseated in Persian Empire and a hero called Amir Arsalan.

Both of them have similar MC, Aram (Asta) and Yuri (Yuno). The drawing is also kinda like Black Clover. They both have same goal/concept: fighting against evil, except Black Clover is more on like becoming the magic king rather than that.

Both were based on a game where fantasy, magic, action are involved, except that one was a Korean based MMORPG, while the other is a Japanese mobile game app.

Tales of Zestiria and Chain Chronicle are really similar to each other in that the main characters have to defeat some kind of "darkness" consuming the land. In Tales of Zestiria, Sorey the Shepherd travels with his friends to defeat the intense malevolence in the kingdom and he meets a bunch of people on the way. In Chain Chronicle, Yuuri wanders around the land of Yuguto with the Volunteer Army in search of a way to get rid of the growing blackness withering the land. They both give off the same vibe while watching the show and leave me curious for more. All in all,  read more

Both are set in a medieval fantasy world that is plagued by some sort of malevolent force that brings about war on a grand scale. In addition, both male lead characters have the ability to gain magic power from others.

Both at fantasy setting with a diverse cast of characters and great fights. Both involve a Black Plague over taking the land and the heroes try to find a way to stop it. Both are based on games.
