Nichigo (日5), a shortened name for the 5 p.m. time slot on Sundays, is Mainichi Broadcasting System (MBS) and its sister network Tokyo Broadcasting System (TBS)'s anime programming block. Nichigo was first launched in April 2008 to replace the Doroku (土6) anime programming block, which aired at 6 p.m. on Saturdays from 1992 to 2008. ![]() ![]() These anime and donghua feature members of a royal family. They may be rulers, royal heirs, or people who have become royalty by other means, such as marriage, divine decree, or simply taking the throne. In rare cases, an exceptional individual will actually build their own kingdom from the ground up. While some characters enjoy the wealth and privilege their position affords them, others may be trying to distance themselves from their royal responsibilities. More tragic figures include survivors of fallen kingdoms and exiled royals fighting to survive and, in some cases, reclaim what they have lost. ![]() ![]() These shows have a distinct Middle Eastern aesthetic or take place in the region. The Middle East consists of over a dozen countries that stretch from Turkey (sometimes spelled Türkiye) to the north, Egypt and the surrounding African nations in the west, all the way to Iran (formerly known as Persia or Pars in ancient times) and Afghanistan to the east. The land of Arabia is particularly well-known, due to the famous literature, "Arabian Nights". ![]() ![]() Being purely evil or purely good is a misconception. You never know, but there are times someone has to sacrifice their good to become the villain. We always have some good and bad in us. So bad guys can have a conscience too. ![]() ![]() These travelers wander from place to place for various reasons. They may travel the land for their job, be on a journey due to a strong sense of wanderlust, or are adventurers on a quest of some sort. Others may be homeless, exiled, or on the run and have no place to put down roots. Basically, a list of non-isekai shows from various genres where the characters change location frequently. ![]() ![]() A selection of 21st-century anime based on source material that pre-dates it by at least twenty years. This includes old-school manga, novels, and video games. Great for those who love retro media ad enjoy seeing classic content dusted off and revived for a new generation of fans to enjoy. ![]() ![]() If you are likely to watch an anime specifically because it predominantly features swords, blades, katanas, scimitars, or claymores in it, then this is the list for you! ![]() ![]() A continuation of my previous stack, "Anime Based on Significantly Older Manga", exclusively including remakes. The manga must have been at least 15 years old when the anime released. Organized in ascending order by length of time between manga and remake. ![]() ![]() أنميات أتمنى أن تتوفر بالدبلجة العربية في كرانشي رول العربية أو شاهد أو سبيستون غو أو في أي منصة أخرى ![]() ![]() compilation of all non-exclusive Netflix anime content in the United Kingdom. will try and keep this updated as more shows are removed and added. (Updated infrequently) ![]() ![]() Politic, Government, Diplomatic? In real life these topics always get attention right? ![]() ![]() Large scale battles and strategy war anime. ![]() ![]() And 261-339. Neat. Going at this pace, only 2 more.
