Synopsis

The Underground People desire to leave their overcrowded cavern and seize control of the surface world, but they never quite succeed. A second episode, Christmas Aid, soon followed, in which the brainless Undergrounders' second futile escape attempt is set to music by the popular group Yukadan. The first volume also included two unrelated stories by Ishii: 101 Ninja and Ken-chan's Space Exploration Adventure.

From the Advertisement from another OVA Toki iro Kaima, I have stumbled across this obscure piece of Animation.
The Version from my Experience is on Archive and was subbed in English by Perevodildo a Member of Orphan Fansubs.

The OVA is really weird Japanese humor for a time full of Laughs. The OVA contains many Songs in Japanese version from the English Original ( Daydream Believer ). The first OVA is sliced in segments with the Underground People, Samurai and more. The Second OVA is a bit Underground People in Christmas but almost all the time there are weird AMVs.

I personally liked the first OVA really ...

I recommend this anime for everyone who is a fan of Cartoons like looney tunes mixed whit some Japanese slapstick humor.
For instance its sorted into segments that all came whit there own Characters.

the first ova is mostly focused on the rampage of a Godzilla like creature who is terrorizing the Earth
The resentful path of the Underground mans toward the people of the surface and the adventure of a group of Ninjas

while the second one is mostly an amw of 70- 80 music pop culture filled whit another resentful trip to the surface
So if you want to enjoy some cartoon like time whit ...
