K: Return of Kings is the second season of the K series but it can stand well enough on its own. It has a stellar soundtrack, beautiful visuals and has the same concept of superpowered Kings and their followers fighting. The K series main difference is how these powered individuals interact, and the modern setting that separates it from Magi.

Feuds between multiple factions with multiple characters involved. Excelent dialogues that are building up tension. Both animes have unique plot which I think is highly sought.

Both are about different groups fighting each other and have supernatural / magical powers. The Blue group is similar to the agency. The Red is similar to the Port Mafia. The relationships between the two groups are very similar in both animes. While the two are fighting, a new enemy shows up and the two groups have to join forces to fight the new enemy.

The Kyoto Grid Purge is similar to when the green's unleash the slates (chaos). Also add to the fact that the main group is trying to prevent that and they are similar enough

Opposing factions fight one another with the hopes of achieving their group or individual goals, but interestingly enough no group or individual is distinctively seen as heroic or villainous. The thought of being "good" or "bad" is seen as rather subjective and open to interpretation to the audience. The first season  read more
