Spring is in the air and Japanese schools are back in session. What better way to experience the springtime of youth than by joining a club? Between the cultural clubs, sports clubs, music clubs, and more, there's bound to be a club here that catches your eye! There are many music related anime out there, but music is a rather broad term. Some anime focus more on the singing aspect, others more on the stage show, and some anime are just music videos. This stack is a collection of music related anime where instruments play a larger role. Some characters are simply learning to play these instruments, others play in a band or they use them for special occasions. All kinds of instruments are collected here, such as the piano and keyboard, violins and guitars, brass instruments (trumpet, tuba, trombone, horn, etc.), fluets and others. It's the Pre-2020 Anime what ever that's mean What I look for the most in an anime above everything else is high-quality writing. That's not to say that manga, visual novel, and light novel adaptations are written poorly; in fact, there are some that have incredible, masterfully-crafted storylines. I have simply personally found that some of the most unforgettable series for me have been novel adaptations. Explicitly Cannon Couples and Hard Subtext Shows. Subtext shows listed here have substantial content and not just a little bit of teasing here and there. Subtext can also be an unspoken focal point of the series. These are shows I can actually recommend and like enough to suggest checking out. This is a part of a series of stacks that are about artistic tendencies in anime (and that border the fine line between sophisticated and pretentious). This is a counterpart to the my magical realism coming-of-age stack. Here, I'll be listing my favorite traditional coming-of-age stories, shows about growing up that take place in a down-to-earth representation of the real world without any fantasy elements. Like with the previous list, I'll be using the first season of the show to represent the entire series. A good Character Development throughout the series. Yes, there is something of a MAL equivalent in Japan. These shows are my all-time favourites that only feature female characters as main casts. Sure, some of them will just boil down to "Cute Girls Doing Cute Things", but don't let that keep you away from watching these and just relax - just settle down on your chair, wet from your swamp ass. This is stack of predominantly non-comedic, Slice of Life anime. These anime are not entirely devoid of comedic elements, but comedy features rather sparsely and isn't a key plot-device. Some of the anime featured here uses the opportunity to deal with and provides an insight into complex subject matters, ranging from Depression to Gender-identity, in a realistic and humane way. Sometimes, we want shows just for the sake of experiencing the deep emotions that make us value what we have in our lives. The inner peace we get after the tears wet our cheeks is needed for us to keep living and valuing our existence and those near and dear to us. I've compiled some of those shows which made me feel that way. I hope you enjoy them to the fullest! A list of anime that revolve around the following topics: Idols, bands and music. Forget the reality and enjoy your dreams. Information |
