Both are very similar. Have the same synchro and the same character - qualities. In these animes aim is to fight the evil ... whether with magic or a sword. But the love is not too short and in both animes. The anime also has what funny, the comedy is there, too.

these animes are so much alike the main characters are based on a gurl wit fire powers in bother than fall in love wit the main male character

Both have the harem elements all over. If you just love watching Kugimiya Rie (seiyuu) and Hino Satoshi (seiyuu) in action together, definitely pick up both.

Similar plotlines. Plenty of fighting. Tsunderes. Animation quality is relatively similar. Relatively similar tone and level of tension. Strong female characters. The first half of this season sucks.

Both have similar fighting style and the main characters falls in love with each other. They have to face life and death battles.

Both give off a very similar vibe. Both have very intriguing plots. The art in both is similar especially during action scenes due to the many special effects used. Both have pretty much the same genres except To Aru Majutsu no Index has more comedy.

Another great action/magic/romance series. The plots, characters and ideas are very different in these two, but the series explore similar themes, so you'll like them both!

Not Exactly Alike, but the idea of having a male and female work together and work to reach their goal both are also fantasy and drama. ~Bondocter~

They both involve romances between inexperienced young children and the characters are both very similar. Nagasumi looks incredibly like Sakai Yuji and is as weak and uncertain of the circumstances as he is. Mawari Zenigata looks like Matake Ogata, both strong tomboys and Seto San vaguely resembles Shana, though personalities greatly differ.

I kept thinking of this series while watching Shana, a boy/girl pair fighting evil, some cute romance, love triangles and lots of action (though there is no magic in FMP) but if you like one, you'll love the other

The leading role (Taiga) has the same voice, and both Taiga and Shana are really tsundere and short fused. Another simularity, Taiga is also really short.
