Reality is how you see it, right? However, both of these series have a way of turning the main characters idea of reality on edge. The characters also have a degree of problems in their lives which lead to the big why of why things are going on.

For some odd reason, the art work and story remind me of "St. Luminous Mission High School". Yes, there seems to be less supernatural when it comes to "Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko", but they have a very simular feel to their slice-of-life story telling. You also get to feel as if the characters exist.

Both series deal with the supernatural and being able to move on with life. While "St. Luminous Mission High School" is an older series, it has a simular charm to the storyline that draws the viewer in. There is also a mystery as to why the things are happening around them.

Both works are produced by Pioneer LDC, and many girl characters appear.

I don't know how to put the fact that the series have simular vibes. Maybe it has to do with the fact that I can't tell one harem from another. That be the case, both boys attend what equates to be an all girl school because of a very specific reason.

Goodness knows I so far have been the only one making recomendations for "St. Luminous Mission High School". The best way to put the reason why I am recomending Starry☆Sky and vice versa is the fact that they have a simular feeling to them. They make you feel like you are thinking deeply.

Both take place in a high school setting, both have a boy character who crossdresses as a girl, one because he has to, one because he wants to. Also, both happen to have supernatural events happen. In Happiness! it is magic based while St. Luminous Mission High School is mysterious disaperances. They have slightly different flavors, but they are still nice.

While the story lines are rather different, there is an air of mystery about them, an unsolved part of the whole matter that while one can try guessing about the ending outcome, unless one has seen them before, done research, or pays close attention, one might not get the jest of what is going on with everything until the very end. The endings are for the most part, unexpected, or with such a twist that it is like wow...

Both Anime deal with high school students, disapearances of different people and a big old supernatural mystery.

Each Anime takes place at a school where something supernatural is going on and the main character has a suspenseful time trying to figure out what is going on. The series also use the element of having an alternate dimension that effects the real world. Each has it's own interesting twist.

Both Detective Conan and St. Luminous Mission High School happen to be mystery based, though the second is more supernatural while the first is more detective based. They also have twists to the plot line that no one expects.
