GS Mikami: Gokuraku Daisakusen!! addpermalink

Both series have the same blend of comedy & horror. The final episode for Hell Teacher Nube OVA definitely has the feel of a movie with its updated animation & more action oriented plot. Ghost Sweeper Mikami Movie is not as dark as Nube but offers comedy& a battle against some zombies & Nosferatu.

Both series are Shonen Jump titles dealing with demons & the supernatural. Both features serve as good introductions for their respective anime series. The Hakusho film has a more traditional story of defeating the movie villain & his minions, while the Hell Teacher Nube OVA is episodic with its final episode being awesome with its demon battle centered story.
