Kiddy Grade

Theses are the list of shows/movies that aired on the portuguese channel known as SIC Radical. a Portuguese TV network that airs shows made for much older audience.

Explicitly Cannon Couples and Hard Subtext Shows. Subtext shows listed here have substantial content and not just a little bit of teasing here and there. Subtext can also be an unspoken focal point of the series. These are shows I can actually recommend and like enough to suggest checking out.

-some popular shows in here simply worth mentioning because it would be criminal not to mention them.

idk how else to describe it, there's just something to them that captivates me. often involving action, mechas, powerful (often female) leads with interesting characterization. they really don't make anime like they used to...

i would highly recommend giving these a try if you're searching for something unique.

Anime that either has a lot of fanservice, or is classed as ecchi or erotica.

For anime which have 20+ episodes and only one opening and one ending

At least one main female character is physically strong, preferably the protagonist.

Physical strength applies both to hand-to-hand combat and proficiency in wielding weaponry (marksmanship, swordsmanship, archery etc.) as well as ability and talent in a physical sport.

No magical/supernatural power allowed unless it enhances physical strength.

If you watch these series for the Yuri, you will be disappointed.

Anime Which the tag Ecchi Is Removed or are Comonlly Mistaken for Ecchi Series.

Anime from the late 90's and early 2000's (1997-2004). This period had dark anime with semi-realistic art style and existential themes, many of them have the following genres: action, psychological, horror, sci-fi or mecha.

The most known style/aesthetic that made anime popular worldwide: Big eyes, antenna hair, spiky hair (mukokuseki character design), abrupt shifts between serious and comedic moments etc. It has to be as stylized as possible, semi-realistic style doesn't belong here. Anime from 2000-2009.
