World Masterpiece Theatre is a Japanese TV anime staple that showcases an animated version of a different classical book or story each year. It originally aired from 1969 to 1997 and then resumed in 2007. WMT series were originally produced by Mushi Production and Zuiyo Eizo, and then by the latter's successor Nippon Animation, and originally air primarily on Fuji Television. A selection of animes with the USA as their main setting. Some anime do a better job depicting this setting than others. Some opt for a accurate as possible depiction, others take an idealized view, while others make you wonder if the creators have ever been to or even seen America. Not all will be included otherwise ill have to make like 3 list Series that emphasise the presentation of struggle and dramatic event(s) through culminating the portrayal of the experience to that point visually or by some other means. Series that highlight the slice of life aspect of a family and explore the relationships within the family Cottegecore stories harken back to simpler times and a simpler way of living. Many stories center on the idea of a simple life of self-sufficiency in harmony with nature, or characters having adventures in a pretty cottegecore environment. Cottegecore is often influenced by the romanticization of the European countryside in historical times, but may also take place in the woods, mountains, or other rustic locations in any time period. Aesthetics often include rural landscapes, cottages, and other dwellings surrounded by flowers and nature, boys in overalls and girls in old-fashioned dresses, lush forests, and low-tech items and furniture from olden times. These classic Nippon Animation series were usually adaptations of well-known literature by non-Japanese authors. Many ran for exactly one year as part of the well-known family-friendly program "World Masterpiece Theater". Collection of historical semi-realistic or realistic works that detail the historical events of America or daily life of people in American historical context. Anime aired in Spain's TV channels (public or private), listed with the Spanish title. Might be missing some or be messy.: I wanted to add the most important stuff but also the less obvious. Excluding most sequels & movies. For people who just want to enjoy a normal sibling relationship in anime without the all too common incest stuff that's prevalent in many anime nowadays! Adaptations, sequels, prequels and spin-offs of western films, TV shows and literature in anime format Welcome to my Obscurity series, which I hope will help you delve deeper into the depths of anime, particularly the classics. Magic Kids was an Argentine cable channel which aired cartoons, anime and live shows aimed at kids and young teens. The channel was founded on January 12, 1995, and went defunct on May 24, 2006. This is the second part of a collection of articles where I aim to explore the evolution of anime related music. This part of the list attempts to collect a list of most iconic performances on the "New Age" of anime music. |
