New Interest Stack
Interest StacksAkio Sugino is hailed as one of the most prominent animation directors and character designers in the industry, known in Japan as one half of anime's "golden combo" alongside Osamu Dezaki. Their frequent collaborations led to many of the early defining works in the medium, and are iconic masterpieces that have significantly held up over time. Sugino's output was integral to legitimizing anime as an art form and turning itself more distinct from Western animation, evolving and reimagining his Mushi Pro, Tezuka-inspired roots. Here's a bunch of goodies lacking love, many of which are obscure, others just underappreciated. Almost all of them lean more towards being lighthearted, cute and silly. (Not necessarily all at once.) Lots of adventure, too! Keep in mind that they're not all "must-see", but this should still be a great source for finding something new and enjoyable. Only series that are ranked below 2,000 in 'Popularity' on MAL. I once made a list of Jazzy soundtracks I found in anime so I decided to put it here. Feel free to send me any suggestions. [Please let me know of any errors] This is a comprehensive list of anime featuring bikini-clad girls in science fiction settings. What is a manly anime? It may be hard to define them at first glance. Rather than a textbook definition, it's more of a specific "vibe". You can feel when you're watching one of them. A comprehensive list of everything that aired in LatAM. Put a comment in my profile in case I missed any (This is only part 1, i'll make as many as necessary. Franchises will be listed under a single entry to save space. Locomotion and Animax are excluded to avoid repetition from other existing Stacks. Since Mecha/Space animes is somewhat not appreciated nowadays by the general people, i'm making a list to someone who want to see more than the surface of what it offers. |
