Worldbuilding - "the process of constructing a world, originally an imaginary one, sometimes associated with a fictional universe." These kinds of shows are usually set in a fantasy and/or sci-fi world, and excel at establishing & showcasing the rules/history/economy of their fictional universe. List was created through collective data from multiple websites of people's answers as to what shows are considered to have great world building. Anime with great worldbuilding, or the development of the fantastical environment and world! None of these anime take place in what you would call 'our universe', rather taking place in an alternative universe or fantasy/ sci-fi setting with amazingly well-tailored and fitting details in technologies and architecture that makes every world unique. A selection of animes with the USA as their main setting. Some anime do a better job depicting this setting than others. Some opt for a accurate as possible depiction, others take an idealized view, while others make you wonder if the creators have ever been to or even seen America. Humans aren't alone, they live alongside beings that are considered "supernatural" such as ghouls, ghosts, hollows, vampires, demons, devils, and more. Wheter the humans notice it or not, these beings can be a stranger, an enemy, a friend, and yourself. Watch as the humans venture into fear. Into the supernatural world. Anime with jazzy James Bond-esque OPs/EDs. Anime that has the smoothest animation/art style that you shouldn't miss. Something with many frames per second as well as beautiful, vibrant colors, that you don't have a single moment where you'll feel bored. I once made a list of Jazzy soundtracks I found in anime so I decided to put it here. Feel free to send me any suggestions. |
