New Interest Stack
Interest StacksThe new anime release format that appeared in the mid-80s brought new opportunities for studios and various works began to be released on videotapes. Some of them were frankly terrible, but some became classics with a recognizable style and aesthetics. I bring to your attention works worth viewing. Each of the following are one of the most popular anime set in or heavily inspired by an associated Japanese prefecture. They are ordered from Hokkaido to Okinawa (roughly north to south). Welcome to my Obscurity series, which I hope will help you delve deeper into the depths of anime, particularly the classics. All these anime's include very shippable characters who mostly have no other person in the anime you could possibly ship them with. This is a marketing ploy because this makes anime/ships very popular as well as being apart of the lgbtqia+ community is not openly embraced by any Asian media. A lot of these anime's has novels, manga chps, side manga, official art, and drama cds that are very suggestive or downright very gay. They have all have very suggestive scenes in the animes as well including op, ed, end credits that are very fruity. ▁ ▂ ▄ ▅ ▆ ▇ █ 𝓑𝓵𝓪𝓬𝓴 ✦ 𝓑𝓻𝓸𝔀𝓷 𝓲𝓷 𝓐𝓷𝓲𝓶𝓮 ⟨⟨ 𝔗𝔥𝔦𝔯𝔡 𝔈𝔡𝔦𝔱𝔦𝔬𝔫 ⟩⟩ █ ▇ ▆ ▅ ▄ ▂ ▁ Do you like watching trashy 80/90s OVAs and movies that are violent, stupid, and nonsensical? Well this list is for you. Some of these are pretty famous in the community like Violence Jack and M.D. Geist, but I made sure to really dumpster dive for some obscure trash for all of you garbage connoisseurs out there. In this stack each prefecture will have only one representative and the direction will be by the Japanese ISO (ISO 3166-2:JP). Anime featured in the Anime Vision Video Magazine, which was released on VHD videodisc throughout the mid 80s. Every cinema or direct to video anime film that came out in 1985. These are just some which I've seen and plan to watch. Includes movies and OVAs. Sekai Douwa Anime Zenshuu is dated as either 1986 or 1990 on different sites, so I will keep on this list for now. |
