Similar dark themes throughout. Both involve cute girls with much a much deeper story than your typical SoL. Good op and ed for both series

they have a similarly dark feel to them, i can't put my finger on it but something in the atmosphere and character dynamics just feels like a match, im gonna call this a gut reccomendation but its a strong one

Both anime have an alternative universe were fighting takes place and they both have girls of same age going through dark parts of they're life.

Both have the dark theme of playing a game for the sake of something you really wish for. In Death Parade it's for your life while in the Selector series it's for the wish you can't make come true on your own. In both they strive towards this goal only to have a curveball thrown at them right at the end which makes them question everything they ever stood for. Psychological games = Death Parade / WIXOSS

They both have the protagonist entering a game that turns out to be more than what they bargained for. They both control avatars that fight their battles with unique personalities and those avatars both have a mysterious relationship to the human world. In both stories there are also real world consequences for winning and/or losing the game that have to do with wishes and or desires being realized or dashed.
