Watching “12-sai.: Kiss, Kirai, Suki” reminded me of “Yumeiro Patissiere”. In this piece we have a love triangle similar to the one running through the older series. One of the main differences in the love triangle was that all three characters had more traits then the stereotypes that were used for the three characters in “Yumeiro Patissiere”, and the guy is far from being the jerk Kashino is in “Yumeiro Patissiere”. At the start of this, seeing the main character immediately brought my thoughts to MIkan from Gakuen Alice. I immediately thought of Naisho no Tsubomi when i watched 12-sai. Both anime are about the main character going through and experiencing the change from a child to a grow up. Naisho no Tsubomi mc is 11 and 12-sai mc is 12 years old. 12-sai is more focused on falling in love, while each episode of Naisho no Tsubomi is focused on general "growing up" (falling in love, puberty, becoming an older sibling)
